Our Class ~ Rehearsal Photos
Between February 28th to March 26th, 2011, I took photos chronicling our journey through our rehearsal period. The Cast and Production Team was treated to a photo daily with the rehearsal schedule.
For all my fellow Stage Managers who may be reading this: YES, I managed to record all of my blocking! I also managed to operate and help program audio into QLab for Sound Designer Michael Laird. In all honesty, the greatest challenge was picking my moments when it was appropriate to take a photo. The etiquette of a rehearsal hall can be delicate, especially with our subject matter.
We are at the threshold of something great. A very exciting tech time ahead.

Rehearsals are underway at The Grand Theatre for their season opening Side By Side By Sondheim; Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and music by Leonard Bernstein, Mary Rodgers, Richard Rodgers & Jule Styne. Artistic Director Susan Ferley has assembled Director/Choreographer Valerie Moore and Musical Director Mark Camilleri with Charlotte Moore, Glynis Ranney, Michael Torontow & Shawn Wright. It’s a stellar team working with Designers David Boechler (Set & Costumes), Jock Munro (Lighting Design), Jim Neil (Sound), Stage Managed by Yours Truly, ASM’ed Lani Martel with Apprentice Stage Manager Suzanne McArthur. Add this Cast & Creative Team to the extensive Crew & Staff here at The Grand and Southwestern Ontario is in for a treat.
On September 15th, 2010, Henry Miller’s Theatre was renamed in a brief sidewalk ceremony/press conference. I was lucky enough to take this;
